Angel Wolf Ranch, located in northeast Texas, officially opened its pastures to its first longhorns in November 2004. The original herd of 17, was purchased from several established ranches. Since then, many more have come along via auction/private treaty purchases, and the arrival of new calves.
Angel Wolf Ranch is owned and operated by Terry and Dale Noey. Terry is an Accounting Manager with a large firm in Dallas, but she spends every weekend at the ranch bonding with the cattle (that means she feeds them range cubes). Dale retired from the United States Army, and is now a dedicated longhorn rancher, with a job on the side (to pay the range cube bills and give him some occasional exposure to two-legged creatures).
"We purchased approximately 200 acres in December 2002 and started the process of turning the property into a fully operational longhorn ranch. Our goal is to breed and sell quality longhorns with productive genetics and plenty of horn, and we hope others have as much fun with them as we do. The pastures at Angel Wolf Ranch are loaded with outstanding genetics from some of the best in the breed these days including Watson 167, Wyoming Warpaint, J.R. Seman, and Dark Star Chex to name a few. We believe we have and are breeding some outstanding longhorns.
